This interview has been edited for length and clarity.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
It all just depends on the customer. I’m always checking my emails to make sure there’s not a customer that needs drawings or a quote, and then I’m entering sales orders and getting back to the customer as soon as possible. I’m always working to ensure customers have answers in a timely fashion.
What is your favorite part about working with CCG customers?
Getting to know my customer on a personal level is the best part for me because, like I said, everybody’s different and everybody needs different things. I like making the customer happy and providing them with accurate information to ensure their success.
What compels you to create / how do you create Raving Fans in our customers?
Making sure the customer is comfortable and communicating with the customer every step of the way. I want to make sure there’s no miscommunication. I love trying to understand where the customer is coming from so I can make their experience the best it can be.
Of our five CCG philosophies (Lead the Way, Look Long Term, Press Pause, Focus on the How & “How Can I Help?”), which one resonates with you the most?
I resonate with “How Can I Help?” I want to know how I can help you better. I’m the first to take accountability for whatever’s going on, but I need to know how I can make this better so we don’t run into that issue again.
In 2023, some customers specifically noted you in their customer surveys. How does it feel when a customer gives you a Raving Fan review?
I love it. Honestly, it’s a team effort; I know that I can rely on my coworkers to help me out and my managers, but getting that, “Hey Tori, thank you so much,” makes me so happy. I’m so glad I could help!
