Luer Coupler

Luer locks, luer adapters and luer accessories are made to the ISO-594-1 and ISO 594-2 standards, and may be connected to other luer fittings meeting these ISO standards. Please test your application to verify the performance of the interconnection.

Luer fittings, luer adapters, and luer accessories are part of a standardized system of small-scale tubing connectors used to make secure leak-proof unions in medical devices and laboratory instruments. The special 6% of a luer fitting provides a unique secure friction seal appropriate for gas and fluid connections. The Nordson Medical barb (on luer fittings featuring a barbed tubing connection) has no parting lines on the barb to ensure a leak-free tubing union.
